Thursday Threesome ~ Fall Harvest Festival
::Fall Harvest Festival::
Onesome: Fall– (ing) into “The Decorating Season”? How about it: do you have your Halloween Tree up and decorated yet? …or maybe just a plastic pumpkin sitting on the table <g>? …something in between? Inquiring minds and all that… ~ Sorry to disappoint, but don’t do Halloween. I do want to say though that this Holiday has changed from when I was a little girl. I have seen more people go nuts decorating for Halloween more than they do for Christmas!
Twosome: Harvest– time? What crops are grown in your area (call it fifty miles) that are coming out of the fields this Fall? ~ Cotton and soybeans are huge this time of year. Sweet potatoes are good if we had a drier summer. Tobacco ends it’s season this month.
Threesome: Festival– Do you have a County Fair or Harvest Fest happening in Autumn? …or do you wait until the sap flows? ~ Our huge Coastal Carolina Fair starts on October 26, 2006 – cannot wait!!!

::Clean Air Act::
Onesome: Clean– as a whistle? Can you whistle? When did you learn? …and with
pursed lips or with that finger thing? ~ Gosh, I have always been SUPER envious of my mother being able to whistle with the two finger thing. I cannot do it no matter how hard I try. I can whistle with the pursed lips thing. I can’t say I remember when I learned, but I want to say around 6 years old.
Twosome: Air– quality: an issue where you live or not? …enough to move? ~
We live on the East Coast of US, so the ocean breezes really help keep this city air clean. The only problem we have is in the summer when the air seems to just hang over the area like a hot, wet, blanket.
Threesome: Act– Hey, do you ‘act your age’? Sure, that’s subjective, but what
do you think? …or better yet: what do your friends think <g>? ~ As of the moment, I think I act way older than I am, because I feel it! Those that have known me forever are worried about me because I have gotten myself into a cocoon, those that have only known me this way think I am a bit of an old loner.

::Ice Cream Social::
Onesome: Ice– skating? Yes? No? Rinks? Ponds? No way? ~ Never ice skated on a pond, would be way to afraid to fall down a hole into freezing cold water. Went ice skating in a rink last summer (have an indoor rink here) and wasn’t thrilled. Roller skating is more my style.
Twosome: Cream– soda? The work of evil scientists or a true pleasure in life <g>? ~ Oh my! Cream soda is to DIE for!!!
Threesome: Social– Are you considered to be a social person? …or are you more likely to not be comfortable with a bunch of people around you? …and wait a moment: how about in a classroom situation? Is that different for you? ~ I used to be very social. I used to love being around bunches and bunches of people and make them laugh. As I have gotten older, I would rather be alone. I get very anxious around lots of people. Classroom? It would depend on if the classroom is full of adults or kids. I tend to think I would be very comfortable in a classroom full of children.
